What types of financial files can I upload?
ChatGraphs supports Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, and JSON files containing financial data. This includes trial balances, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, general ledger exports, and other structured financial data. Support for direct imports from Tally, Zoho Books, and other accounting software is planned.
Can ChatGraphs analyze a Balance Sheet?
Yes. Upload your balance sheet data and ChatGraphs will identify assets, liabilities, and equity. You can ask questions like 'Show me the debt-equity ratio trend' or 'How has working capital changed?' and receive both written analysis and interactive visualizations.
Can ChatGraphs analyze a Profit and Loss statement?

When you ask a financial question, ChatGraphs determines the most appropriate chart type — line charts for trends, bar charts for comparisons, waterfall charts for breakdowns. The chart is generated automatically with interactive tooltips, period selectors, and the ability to switch chart types or download the visualization.
